So with the year slipping away and my recent post about getting on with things, I shall be heading for the quite and tranquil beauty of the Peak District for seven days, this Saturday. Hopefully, without the daily distractions of life, work and the promotion of my first novel, I shall be able to focus fully on Shadows of a Storm. Seventeen chapters in and 60% of the way (probably) finished, I am hoping that with the inspiration of the location I will be able to report in eight days time, that I will have at least 90% of the first draft behind me and my sights firmly focused on the dramatic end and the stirrings of the third book in the trilogy.
